Our kitchen serves 100% lionfish dishes, ceviche, fish and chips, tacos and more, plus vegetarian options, snacks and drinks. We do not serve desserts. Gluten free options are available, just ask our staff.
No reservations: order at the counter and pick up your food. Free seating and quick turnover, wander the village in the meantime. Workshops do need a booking.

Visiting Lionfish Caribbean, frequently asked questions
Is lionfish safe to eat?
Yes. The venom of a lionfish sits only in the spines, never in the meat, and those spines are removed when the fish is cleaned. Cooking destroys the venom protein anyway, so the fillet on your plate is completely safe.
What does lionfish taste like?
White, mild and firm, closer to snapper or grouper than to anything oily. It takes on the flavour of what it is cooked with, which is why it works in ceviche, tacos, fish and chips and on pizza.
When are you open?
The store and restaurant are open Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The kitchen serves lunch from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM, and on Thursdays also dinner from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Sunday and Monday we are closed.

Do I need to book a table?
No, we don't take reservations. We have a self-service setup: you order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready. Seating is free and turns over quickly, and while you wait you can wander the Kura Hulanda Village. For groups bigger than 10 people you can book a private evening.
Is there anything on the menu besides lionfish?
The lionfish dishes are the reason to come, and we also serve vegetarian options, snacks and drinks, so nobody in the group is left out. We do not serve desserts. Gluten free options are available, just ask our staff.
Do you host private groups?
Yes. Our private group experience is an educational dining experience all about the invasive lionfish, and adults, kids and teens all enjoy it. We build custom packages combining workshops, dining and education. Ask us via the experiences page or email info@lionfishcaribbean.com.
Can I buy lionfish jewelry at the store?
Yes. The full jewelry collection is on display next to the restaurant, so you can see and try the pieces before you buy. The store is cashless, so please bring a card.
