First the Lionfish is caught of course and cleaned. The fish is served as delicious ceviche (and other LionDishes) at our own location in Kura Hulanda Village, Curacao. The fins are washed and dried and turned into amazing Lionfish Jewelry.

We use the tail fin, the pelvic (belly) fin and the pectoral (wing) fin.
Colors can vary when the fins are dried in the sun or in the shade.
Tail fin → White or orange with black spots
Pelvic fin (belly fin) → Black or grey with white spots
Pectoral fin (wing fin) → Purple, blue, red, yellow, green and pink

The color of the Lionfish in our products is a natural pigment and could change over time due exposure to UV-light. But no matter what, it will always keep the magical touch of Lionfish!
